You'll want to set aside an hour for this exercise.
Come ready with oil for your body, and spend at least 15 minutes exploring touch with your pussy or cock (many vulva owners take around 20-40 minutes to become fully aroused, so keep that in mind if you feel frustrated/a lack of pleasure). This is meant to be an exploratory practice akin to Tantric massage, so orgasm isn't necessarily the goal, nor is becoming fully aroused.
I invite you to try this exercise more than once (2-3x weekly, ideally), because it may take a few goes to really sink in and enjoy the experience and figure out all the juicy bits of the practice.
I encourage you to notice if certain kinds of touch bring you closer or further from being fully present (eg, does a particular kind of touch incite your mind to drift?).
If you find yourself drifting away from the present, embodied sensory experience, gently bring your awareness back and back and back (like meditation).

See if you can use your breath to ignite your arousal. An open mouth "hah" (kind of like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally) will ignite your throat and sacral chakra. You can alternate with that and a series of longer slower breaths to relax, and then use your breath to bring the energy up again, like riding a wave. You can include some kegels as you do this, alternating between squeezing your PC muscles and relaxing them when you relax your breath.
